This studio branding session in Asheville, NC with Allison of Cabin Time Games was the perfect blend of creativity, collaboration, and genuine connection. What began as a first-time (in person) meeting between us quickly turned into a warm, easy-flowing session filled with conversation, laughter, and aligned energy.
As a branding photographer, studio days like this one light me up. Allison came into my Asheville studio last month for a personalized branding experience that included both product photography and personal branding portraits. From the very first few moments, it felt like we had known each other much longer. We originally connected through The Beauty Boost Asheville, and although we hadn’t met in person until her session, the conversation flowed effortlessly. One of my greatest joys as a photographer is creating a space where people feel comfortable—where they can exhale, be themselves, and feel seen. But every so often, I have a session that fills me up just as much, and this was absolutely one of them.
For this shoot, we chose a white backdrop to keep everything consistent, airy, and bright—perfect for Allison’s warm personality and the approachable brand identity she conveys. She arrived with several outfits, allowing us to create a wide range of looks that could be used across websites, social media, marketing materials, and future product launches.
With multiple businesses and talents under her umbrella, versatility was essential. Each outfit and setup captured a different facet of who she is—professional, creative, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable.

Cabin Time Games brings people together, and we wanted that energy reflected in the product portion of the session. Instead of stiff or overly staged images, we collaborated on styling her with her products in a way that felt genuine and aligned with her aesthetic. Throughout the process, we chatted about kids, life, and the many adventures that shape our everyday stories—conversations that naturally brought out her ease in front of the camera.
By the end, Allison felt relaxed, confident, and fully herself. And honestly? I left the session feeling happier, too.

Let’s face it, I have the best job. I get to collaborate with the best of the best, create impactful art and branding images, and make friends along the way. What can be beat?
